The website is a great place to catch up on monthly CFHA and Cornell Field Hockey news, find event information, see photos, find contact information and read about the CFHA mission. The website is maintained and managed by the board members, but we encourage all of you to contribute information. A look back at 2011!

The CFHA would like to wish all of our supporters, family and friends a joyous new year, one that we hope will be filled with alumni events, fundraising, career mentoring and a Cornell Field Hockey season for the record books! As we look ahead, we can’t help but look back at 2011—it was quite the year for the CFHA. In early 2011, the CFHA met to elect the 2011-2012 board. This group of Cornell alumnae would be tasked with reinvigorating the CFHA full force. Led by returning members Blair Corcoran, Kaitlin Tierney, Meg Whiteford and Cari Hills, the CFHA brought on new board members, Sara Collis, Maureen Mauk, Katie Bradshaw, and Amy Crone. The group worked tirelessly, meeting bi-monthly to refocus the CFHA and our mission. With the help of our teammates, both current and past, we accomplished so much in 2011:

• A successful Spring Event in Ithaca, NY with current and alumnae players 
• Launch of a mentor program and mentor database to provide job opportunities for our graduating classes Creation of a LinkedIn CFHA page, where members can discuss career interests and post jobs 
• Revised mission statement and CFHA by-laws 
• Monthly newsletters to tout all of your personal, professional and CFHA successes 
• And a brand new CFHA website! 

We could not have done all this without the support, engagement and action of the current team, Coach Hornibrook, Coach McCracken, Coach Harris and all of our alumni and family. Thank you for making 2011 great—here’s to a successful and even more productive 2012!
